Echo//Chamber lands in Aachen for a night of raw frequencies and rhythm science. From deep basslines to fractured breaks, we bring together a cross-border squad rooted in Morocco, Paris, and NRW. LINE-UP
🔊 VC-Operator
Aachen-based selector with a soft spot for heavy rhythms. VC-Operator drifts between breakbeat, grime, dubstep, garage and jungle like it’s one continuous sound. gritty, bass-soaked, and always shifting.
There’s always a mood to it—sometimes night-bus melancholia, sometimes straight-up soundsystem heat. One second you’re gliding at 130 BPM, the next you’re knee-deep in blown-out jungle. It’s club music for the restless: full of pivots, texture, and records you probably missed.→ Short:
Grime, dubstep, jungle and deep UK mutations from an Aachen selector who keeps the frequencies cracked and moving.
🔊 Zouave
Paris via Casablanca. Zouave bends club music into something way less linear—jungle with North-African percussion, footwork with ghosted melodies, UK garage loops buried under layers of texture and feedback. Whether he’s playing on radio or some semi-legal setup in a basement, his sets feel like memory glitches: raw, rhythmic, but soaked in atmosphere.
The sounds are restless. Sometimes rolling at 170, sometimes locking into dusty 2-step swing or chopped-up juke. He might sneak in a live sax phrase or flip a keygen melody into a tearjerker. His latest release WWUI’00 runs on demo-scene nostalgia and broken breakbeats, while his earlier Zoufri EP leaned into some Detroit and UK House for some acid-laced melancholy.→ Short:
Jungle, footwork, and digital ghosts from a Paris–Casablanca frequency hacker with a taste for broken nostalgia.
🔊 Softburn
Softburn (fka Klympt) builds DJ sets like foggy landscapes—full of space, weight, and careful connections. Rooted in dubstep but never stuck there, his sound moves between breakbeat, UKG, ambient haze and post-rave introspection. Deep cuts, slow burns, and basslines that feel like breathing in cold air.
Based in Aachen, he’s part of the TBA.info crew and co-runs Heavy Rotation on Callshop Radio, where he showcases everything from vinyl-only meditations to percussive club experiments. Whether behind the decks or organizing parties, he keeps one foot in the emotional core of sound: club music that doesn’t just move bodies, but sits with you after the lights are back on.→ Short:
Emotive dubstep, breakbeat and vinyl meditations from an Aachen-based deep listener with an ear for slow-burn tension.
